mother nature strikes again

A massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake has struck off Japan's northeastern coast, triggering a 10 meter tsuanami that swept away boats, homes and cars along the coastline. They say it is the biggest earthquake that has hit Japan in the last 140 years!

Mother nature is punishing us big time for all the bad we have done to our beautiful earth. It is so important for each and every one of us to start respecting nature and our world before it's too late. What are you doing to be more environmentally friendly? Do your bit by recycling, eating less meat and more local / organic food, conserving water, supporting eco friendly items, re-using plastic bags or even better buy a few canvas bags (woolies sells them) and re-use them for your grocery shopping, if you have your own garden, consider starting a compost pile? There are so many small ways to be more 'green'. So I encourage you to start doing your bit and encouraging your loved ones to do so too, its starts with you and you can make a difference.

Have a happy weekend everyone. Sending much love and prayers to the people of Japan.
